I teach singing privately and in schools. I teach pop, musical theatre, classical, jazz, rock, folk and country. The vocal health and well-being of my students is paramount to me and I ensure all my students have a firm foundation in correct breathing and posture right from the start.

I tailor my teaching to the aspirations of each student, so whether they are looking for a career in music, or just wanting to sing for fun, I am there every step of the way to help them achieve their goals. I can prepare students for exams & performances, if this is what they wish, or just help to improve their breath control and stamina. I submit students for exams from all exam boards, including London College of Music, Associated Board, Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool. In the most recent session of exams, my students have achieved Merits and Distinctions, which makes me very proud.

I offer my teaching individually and in small groups. I teach all ages and levels of ability. Some of my students read music, others learn by ear. Whichever method works best for the student, I am happy to go with. I can teach students to read music and also the fundamentals of music theory. I am also happy to work on improvisation in my lessons.

My singing teaching also gives me the opportunity to work in community music environments, leading music workshops with all age groups.

I am fully CRB checked and trained in Child Protection Awareness. I am compliant with the FMS (Federation of Music Services) teaching standards and guidelines.
